David Capraro

David Capraro, Founder and Director of Austrite Industries Pty Ltd, has worked in the refrigeration and HVAC industry since 1988.

After working for several companies within the industry, David acquired extensive on site experience and technical knowledge as a Senior Service Technician. In 1997 David wanted to challenge himself and take the next step in his career and so branched off and embarked on his own business venture in Sales and service of commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning. It was in this venture that created the opportunity for David and Tony to meet, where Tony became David’s sales representative for a large wholesaling business.

It was when Tony branched off into his own business venture in the same field that he and David began to work on several projects jointly whilst still being under their own separate entities. Both quickly discovered a strong team dynamic with values that ran parallel and skillsets that complimented one another. It was then in 2000 that David and Tony joined their two businesses together and formed Austrite Industries Pty Ltd.

When asking David what has contributed to the success of Austrite he commented “Tony and I have not lost sight of our humble beginnings and the path which we walked to get us to where we are today. We still hold those traditional beliefs that include respect, integrity and accountability and our clients see that. Our industry is forever changing, as are the needs of the client, and we are very adaptable and flexible. The combination of traditional values with modern approaches is a key differentiator for Austrite in this competitive market. We are proactive not reactive, and this allows us to stay on the forefront and get jobs completed efficiently and with great quality. I am very passionate about what I do and ensure that I am across everything, whether that be a delivery that needs to be received or a contract that needs to be signed. Our staff see the passion we have and our hands on approach and this is why we have a team of people who work together to achieve outstanding results.
